How the work is handled

  • Built for Move CleansEnd-of-lease, move-in, turnover and pre-listing cleans are the work we are set up to quote and plan.
  • Inspection-Focused ChecklistThe checklist covers what move-out inspections look at: inside oven, behind appliances, inside cabinets, baseboards, window tracks and light fixtures.
  • Inside Oven, Fridge and CabinetsThe places most cleaners skip are part of the standard scope, not extras sold at the door.
  • Scope and Price in WritingYour quote lists what is included, what is not, and any add-ons, based on the size and condition of the unit.
  • Tenants, Landlords and RealtorsCondos, apartments, townhouses and single-family homes. Same process, scaled to the property and the move dates.

By climate

  • Long, cold winters with heavy snow and a short, warm summerWinter moves bring salt, slush and sand onto floors and carpets throughout the home. Ask for floor protection during the move and a final pass after the last box leaves, and book early for the busy summer and end-of-month moving rush.
  • Wet maritime weather, salt air, many freeze-thaw cycles and storm-driven rain and snowRainy, stormy move days mean muddy entries, wet stairwells and damp closets that can smell musty once furniture is gone. Ask whether the clean includes drying floors, wiping closet walls and checking windowsills for condensation stains.
  • Four seasons: humid summers, cold winters with snow and repeated freeze-thawMost moves happen in summer heat, when empty homes show dust lines, humid bathrooms and mildew behind appliances. Book the clean right after the movers leave, and ask whether appliances are pulled out and inside cabinets are wiped down.
  • Hot, humid summers, mild winters, heavy storms and in coastal areas hurricanes; pests and mold all yearEmpty homes with the air conditioning off can grow mildew in days, especially in bathrooms and closets. Ask the cleaner to keep cooling running during the job, treat mildew spots and check for pests left behind in cabinets and under sinks.
  • Desert heat, strong sun and UV, dust, monsoon downpours, very little freezingDust coats window tracks, blinds and vents in every empty room, and summer heat makes midday work hard. Ask for early start times and a quote that covers tracks, ceiling fans, vents and baseboards, where desert dust builds up most.
  • Dry, high-altitude climate with strong UV, big day-night swings, snow and freeze-thawWinter moves bring de-icer and gravel inside, while dry air leaves static dust on walls and fixtures. Ask for entry protection, wall wiping and carpet extraction, and book early for summer and ski season turnovers in resort towns.
  • Mild, wet marine climate: long rainy seasons, moss and moisture, little hard freezing near the coastRainy move days leave wet footprints everywhere, and empty rooms often reveal mildew behind dressers and on window frames. Ask whether the clean includes mildew wiping on sills and walls, and leave time for carpets to dry before the new tenant moves in.
  • Dry summers and wet winters, wildfire smoke and ash, earthquakes, almost no snow on the coastDry weather makes moves easy, but dust and, in fire season, fine ash settle on sills, vents and floors. Ask for vent and filter wiping, window track cleaning and a final dust pass, since ash spreads quickly once the home is shown or occupied.
  • Extreme cold, permafrost in places, very short building season and remote freightMoves cluster in the short summer, and cleaners and supplies can be scarce in remote towns. Book well ahead, ask whether the crew brings its own products, and plan for gravel and mud tracked in from unpaved roads.

Questions

What is the difference between a move-out clean and a regular clean?

A move-out clean is significantly deeper. Standard recurring cleans skip inside the oven, behind the fridge, inside cabinets, window tracks, light fixtures and baseboards. Move-out cleans include all of these, because that is what landlords inspect.

Can you clean on short notice?

Put your move date in your email. The quote tells you what is possible for your area and timing.

What does a standard move-out clean include?

Kitchen: inside oven, inside fridge, inside cabinets and drawers, stovetop and hood, countertops, sink, exterior of appliances, floor. Bathrooms: full bathroom clean, inside cabinets, exhaust fans, light fixtures. All rooms: floors, baseboards, window tracks, light fixtures, switches, vents, closets, doors.

Do you bring supplies?

Yes. Cleaning products and deep-clean equipment are included. If you prefer eco-friendly products, note it in your request.

Can I be there during the clean?

Your choice. Many tenants leave a key or lockbox code. Put your access instructions in the request and they become part of the scope.

How is pricing structured?

Price is based on the size and condition of the unit. Standard checklist items are included. Add-ons (carpet extraction, wall touch-ups) are quoted separately.

How do I get a quote?

Email us the details. Include the city, the unit size, the move date and any photos you have. Every request comes in by email, so nothing gets lost.
